POAC-HV Grants
For Individuals
Parents Of Autistic Children-Hudson Valley is pleased to offer grants to offset the costs of social/recreational/educational/workshop programs to qualified applicants. To qualify for this award, applicants must be diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and must reside in the Hudson Valley. Workshop applicants must have or work with the above children.
Applicants can request up to $400.00 and should attach a copy of the social/ recreational/educational/workshop program information to their application. If you have already paid for the program, please attach proof of payment. Generally, checks are made out directly to the program provider. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates may apply as often as they wish, but will be awarded only up to $400.00 per year.
Grants are made available through funds raised by POAC-HV's Annual Autism Awareness Golf Tournament. Because the amount of funds varies from year to year, so will the amount of money made available for grants.
For Organizations & Programs
Parents Of Autistic Children-Hudson Valley is pleased to offer grants to social/recreational/educational programs that serve children with Autism. To qualify for this award programs must serve children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related disabilities. Programs should be located within the Hudson Valley. These grants are geared toward helping to enhance the lives of people with ASD.
Applicants can request up to $2,000.00 and should attach a detailed copy of the social /recreational/educational program information to the application. If the grant is approved, the check will be made payable to the program directly. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Program Directors may apply as often as they wish, but will be awarded only up to $2,000.00 per year.
